GoldVault Fund utilizes a differentiated arbitrage strategy yielding ultra-high uncorrelated alpha and incomparable ESG gains. The Fund’s ESG-driven strategy monetizes a disruptive arbitrage in gold. Fund is currently capitalized with $100 million of AUM.

The Fund’s arbitrage strategy involves the purchase of OTC gold forward contracts from select United States gold miners. The miners are recycling gold-containing ore, tailings, and mineralized rock (surface ore) lying on the surface of dozens of century-old gold mines, many of which were among the United States top producers.

The Fund's forward contracts deliver gold bullion at a fixed price, eliminating volatility of returns. The forwards are collateralized 10:1 with appraised United States gold-containing surface ore held in trust, virtually eliminating counterparty risk.

The annualized returns to the Fund's limited partners have a Beta = 0, Standard Deviation = 0, Sharpe Ratio = Infinite, and Sortino Ratio = Infinite, meaning returns are perfectly uncorrelated.

Unleveraged annualized returns to the Fund's limited partners equal 48.2% net of management and performance fees. In the event Fund were to leverage its investment in gold forward contracts at 75% LTV, net annualized returns to limited partners can exceed 80% while remaining perfectly uncorrelated.

In addition to ultra-high uncorrelated alpha, this is the greenest of ESG investments. Recycling existing stockpiles of gold lying on the surface of century-old United States mines and restoring the land to its original pristine beauty dramatically improves the environment, versus any type of gold mining activity which only makes it worse.

Gold mining and gold recycling lie at opposite ends of the sustainable investment spectrum. Gold mining creates minimal benefit at maximum environmental cost, while gold recycling creates maximum environmental benefit at minimal cost.
